ADMISSION, REFUSALS & EJECTIONS

In accordance with the licensing Act 2003 the venue has the right to refuse admission without providing a reason. If you have consumed alcohol prior to arrival and appear to be in an intoxicated state or behave inappropriately during the event or in view of the venue team, you may be refused entry or asked to leavenwithout a refund.

AGE RESTRICTION AND TICKETS

To attend any live music performance at the venue you must be over the age of 14. Children may attend private events with their parent or guardian. If a show is advertised as 14+ all ticket holders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) Unaccompanied under 18-year-old ticket holders will be refused entry without a refund.

Some events have restrictions in place with admittance permissible to over 14’s/18’s or 21’s and no exceptions will be made on the doors. Please ensure you read all the show details prior to booking tickets as refunds cannot be made in this case.

In the case of lost tickets, we can only help customers who have booked directly via one of our tickets links BEWARE OF SECONDARY TICKETING (people generally advertising on Facebook, we do our best to delete these posts but may occasionally miss them so be aware!)

CAMERAS AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT

No professional cameras (with large or detachable lenses), video cameras or tape recorders are permitted in the venue unless agreed in advance. Should you be found to have these on arrival you will be asked to either take them back to somewhere safe or be asked to deposit them in the venue office where they are returned to you at the end of the event.

CHALLENGE 25

If you are lucky enough to look under 25, you will be asked to prove that you are over 18, when you purchase alcohol. Challenge 25 is the same principle as challenge 21. All customers who look under the age of 25 will be required to provide ID when purchasing alcohol.

If you are under 18 you are committing a criminal offence if you attempt to buy alcohol and you may be asked to leave without a refund or held until a responsible adult can come and collect you. People over the age of 18 found purchasing drinks for those not of legal age will be asked to leave without a refund. Please be aware of our accepted forms of ID are as recommended by Conwy Council.

SEARCH POLICY

Our security company has a search policy in place in order to promote further the safety and security of everyone entering the building. Please come to the building with the understanding that your belongings may be subjected to a search in accordance with the security company’s search Policy. Accepting a search is a condition of entry and refusing a search will result in refusal of entry.

PERSONAL ITEMS

Items such as motor bike helmets, coats, backpacks etc are left unattended at your own risk. We are not responsible for customers personal items.

DISABLED ACCESS

We do not currently have a dedicated disabled access. The venue is accessed via stairs, staff are happy to assist any disabled patron to gain access to the show if appropriate.

SEATING

Please do not assume that seats will be available. We are committed to everyone having a great time but with our busier events we are unable to put tables in the main stage area. If you need seating, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to assist you.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

No alcoholic beverages should be brought into The Motorsport Lounge; we will ask you to dispose of them. Tap water is available and affordable bottles of water are available. Should you require items for medical reasons please let us know in advance and we will do our best to assist you.

ID POLICY

Anyone who looks to be under the age of 25 years will be challenged to prove their age to buy alcohol. The venue operates Challenge 25.

Accepted forms of ID are: Driver’s license (full or provisional), or a current valid Passport or PASS Card with the pass hologram. As recommended by Conwy Council. Any ID being presented to door staff fraudulently will be confiscated from the bearer.

ISSUES DURING THE SHOW

If you have a complaint about the venue or event, please speak to a member of the team who will try to assist and in turn, if necessary, contact a Manager immediately during the show to try and resolve the issue.

LOST PROPERTY / LEFT ITEMS

If you have lost items or left them behind,
please let us know and we will contact you if we find it.

MERCHANDISE

The Motorsport Lounge merchandise can be purchased from the bar or reception.

NOISE & SOUND LEVELS

Please be aware that there will be high sound levels during shows and patrons may be subject to continuous sound levels which may cause potential damage to hearing. Ear plugs are available on the bar.

The venue operates a neighbour friendly policy, when leaving the venue please make as little noise as possible.

RE-ADMITTANCE

Once you have entered the venue, pass-outs and re-admittance will only be granted if you are in possession of a venue stamp or wristband.

No drinks are to be taken downstairs or off the premises under any circumstances at any time.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS & MEDICATION

We discourage bringing medication to the venue; however, we do understand that for some people this is a necessity.

Therefore, should a person attend a show with prescription drugs the following applies: A sealed package of prescribed medication of a small quantity is permitted providing that the person’s name is on the label. A prescription for the medication, if possible, should be brought with you. Please be aware that evidence may be requested by security.

A person who intends to bring medical sharps into the venue, please let us know

SHOW TIMES / SUPPORT BANDS

The following is a guide only and should be treated as such. More specific information will be available from our website. For the majority of shows (14+) the doors open at 7.00pm with a venue curfew for music at 11.00pm and guests at 11.45pm.

Show times and support acts will be listed on our social networking pages as and when they are known to us. All times and support acts listed are subject to change and are to be used as guidance only. Do not use the stage times listed to make travel arrangements.

CANCELLATION OF EVENTS OR IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND

We do our very best to make sure that everything goes to plan. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or postpone an event we will give as much notice as possible and do our best to contact you via email, phone or social media. Refunds or tickets to another event will be offered (less any booking fees which are out of our control).

If you are no longer able to attend an event and have a genuine valid reason (not just it is raining, want to do something else, event clash etc), please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. We consider each request on a case-by-case basis and in any event, we do not refund booking fees. Please note that refunds are not guaranteed.

SMOKING/VAPING POLICY

In line with the law The Motorsport Lounge is a non-smoking venue. Smoking/vaping is not permitted in any area of the venue. There is a smoking/vaping area outside. Those found to be smoking/vaping inside the venue will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

STROBE LIGHTING & PYROTECHNICS

Some shows will contain strobe lighting or smoke effects. Signage will be up in the venue to advise of this. Should you have an issue please email the venue in advance and we will be able to let you know what is happening.
